Lawrence County Goes Green

County moves into green phase of state's reopening process
Green check mark

Lawrence County is officially in the "green phase" of Pennsylvania's reopening process.

Lawrence is one of 18 counties moving into the less restrictive phase on Friday, May 29.  The green phase eases most restrictions by lifting the stay-at-home and business closure orders to allow the economy to carefully reopen while keeping the protection of public health a top priority. While gatherings of 250 people or more are not permitted, hair salons and barbershops can now reopen by appointment. Churches and other faith-based institutions can hold in-person services, and visitation to hospitals may resume. Businesses must follow guidelines established by the CDC and the PA Department of Health.

People should continue to practice social-distancing to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.  If you are unable to socially distance, wearing a face mask is strongly encouraged.
