PennDOT Traffic Study Set to Begin
Department vendors to review potential improvements

Starting in January 2021 and running through April 2021, PennDOT will be contracting with Drive Engineering, Inc., French Engineering, LLC, and Tri-State Traffic Data, Inc., vendors of the Department of Transportation's Highway Safety and Traffic Operations Division, to collect traffic data on municipally owned roads within Neshannock Township and Lawrence County. The data collected will be utilized by the Department to complete a statewide network screening and prioritize locations for potential safety improvements.
Traffic counters will be set in the Township between January 2021 and April 2021 and are not being set for any road project or speed trap.
