The Board of Supervisors of Neshannock Township, Leslie Bucci, Stephen Demofonte, and Joseph Gierlach, are very pleased to announce the award of Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars ($900,000.00) in American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) funds from the Lawrence County Commissioners, Morgan Boyd, Loretta Spielvogel, and Dan Vogler. These funds will be used toward the construction of the Highland Park - Blews Acres Sanitation Project within Neshannock Township. This Project will expand the Township's sanitary sewer system, connecting an additional seventy-three residences to the Township system.

This project has been in development for several years, and will bring much needed sanitary sewer services to a large portion of Neshannock Township. The funds will assist to address the health, safety, and welfare of the residents in the project.

The funds have been allocated to Neshannock Township as part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which has allocated $6.15 billion to Pennsylvania counties, metropolitan cities, and local government units to support COVID-19 response efforts, replace lost revenue, support economic stabilization for households and businesses, and address systemic public health and economic challenges. This ARPA Grant award from Lawrence County will help to offset the costs of this Sanitation Project and reduce the fees assessed to residents within the Highland Park and Blews Acres neighborhoods of Neshannock Township.
Neshannock Township would like to thank the County Commissioners for their tireless efforts in obtaining this grant money from the American Rescue Plan Act, and their ongoing commitment to Neshannock Township.
